- La Valette has been one of Malta´s most popular wines since 1967 when Marsovin first started producing it. It is a full-bodied red wine with a mature, complex bouquet. This wine is predominantly produced from Merlot and Cabernet Franc. The strong character of this wine and its fruity aromas and flavours make it very versatile and enjoyable both at an early and later stage in its life-span.
