- Marsovin´s first Gozitan Syrah, produced from a yield of 15,224 kg of handpicked Syrah grapes and harvested in 7 selected family vineyards in Gozo. These are found in the vicinity of the picturesque Ramla Valley; overlooked by Calypso´s Cave, the same cave where Ulysses was believed to have lived for 7 years with the nymph Calypso who promised him immortality. This first vintage has produced a very exclusive and limited amount of 16,320 numbered bottles, making Ulysses a new collectors´ item with good ageing potential. It is a full bodied ruby red wine very delicate on the palate, with soft tannins and soft fruity aromas reminiscent of raspberries and plums.
